

Visitation will be at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home on 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302, Saturday, July 10 2021, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Lamo was born in Wichita Falls, TX to Enrique “Henry” Chacon Zamora and Manuela Gonzalez Zamora on June 2, 1941. He married Amelia Gardea and they had two children Samuel “Sammy” Zamora and Lori Shuey. Lamo was a heavy equipment operator and worked in the construction and industrial industry for M&F Litteken in Wichita Falls, TX until retirement.
Lamo lived in Albert Lea, MN for many years and enjoyed trips to visit his family. He loved listening to music but his favorite was Spanish “corridos”. Lamo was a funny and outgoing person and never met a stranger. His best times were spent with his grandkids and recently, his great grandson.
Lamo Zamora is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Manuela Zamora, wife, Amelia Gardea Zamora, his son, Sammy Zamora, his brothers, Henry Zamora Jr., Ralph Zamora, Carlos Zamora, and his sister, Ruth Zamora Trentham.
Lamo is survived by his daughter, Lori and husband, James Shuey of Wichita Falls, TX, brothers, Raymond and wife, Alberta of Mora, MN, Robert of Saint Paul, MN, Julian and wife, Carolyn of Utah, James and wife, Brenda of Wichita Falls, TX and Richard and wife, Teresa of Wichita Falls, TX, sisters, Betty Caballero of Albert Lee, MN, Rosa Zamora Garcia of Wichita Falls, TX, Nellie and husband, Peter of Wichita Falls, TX, Virginia and husband, Frank Villarreal of Burkburnett, TX and Terry Pando of Little Elm, TX. His five grandchildren, Anthony Shuey, Emily Zamora, Joseph Zamora, Ethan Zamora, and Logan Shuey and his first great-grandson Ramiro “Remi” Ocaziones
