Raymond G. Palacios (Peewee) 71 of Wichita Falls, TX peacefully passed away on February 10, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones.

Raymond was born on December 14, 1949 to Edward Palacios Sr. and Emma Galindo in the city of Wichita Falls, TX. Raymond graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1967. After high school he went to work in the bricklayer industry. He worked as a field rep for The International Union of Bricklayers Local 5 Oklahoma/Arkansas/Texas beginning in 2007. Later to become the president/secretary treasurer of the union from 2013-2015. In 1969, he met Rosalinda Quintana, the love of his life in Wichita Falls, TX and they got married on February 23, 1970. Raymond and Rosalinda had three beautiful children Raymond Jr, Patrick and Ashley. Raymond retired in July of 2015 after 50 years in the bricklayer’s union. After retirement he had a lot of time to spend with his grandchildren, his wife and in his recliner with his close companion, Booboos, watching T.V. Raymond was always an outgoing person , everyone he has ever met can tell you he would always make you smile or make you laugh. His heart was so big and he was always helping out anyway he could.

Raymond was predeceased by his parents Edward Sr. and Emma Palacios, his brothers, Tony Palacios, Richard Palacios and Edward Palacios Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalinda Q Palacios of Wichita Falls TX, his sons, Raymond Palacios Jr. of Wichita Falls, TX, Patrick and wife, Jennifer Palacios of Lafayette, LA, Ashley and husband, Justin Merito of Wichita Falls, TX. His brothers, Johnny and wife, Mary Palacios of Wichita Falls, TX, Gilbert and wife, Mary Lee Palacios of Shawnee, OK. His grandchildren Megan Palacios, Tres Palacios, Noah Merito, Ashtin Merito, Emma Palacios, Grayson Merito, Elena Merito and one great grandchild, Matthew Trevino, and numerous nieces and nephews.

His family will welcome friends and family at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 26 at 6-8 pm, followed by the service on Saturday, February 27 at 2 pm.
