Reba L. Bridwell, 90, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 in Wichita Falls. She was born on September 17, 1923 to the late Philip Atkins and Jesse Myrtle Boyd Atkins. On July 4, 1941 she married Robert D. “Bob” Bridwell in Freeport, TX. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1991. She was a member of 10th and Broad Church of Christ.
She is survived by three children, Robert Randall Bridwell and wife Susan of Charleston, SC, Dede Loudermilk and husband Jim of Azle, TX and Clifford Bridwell of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Sarah Margaret Decker and husband John, Philip Bridwell and wife Courtney and Bob L. Loudermilk and wife Mary; great grandchild, Gina Decker; sister, Frances Taylor; brother-in-law, Joe L. Bridwell and wife Pat; numerous nieces and nephews including, Carlton Carr, Melissa Clifton, and Don Landry and wife Pat; special friend, Carlton Reimers.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
