Ricky D Bunch

Ricky D Bunch, a kind-hearted and beloved member of the Wichita Falls community, passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on February 23, 1956, in Wichita Falls, Ricky lived a life full of warmth and compassion, becoming a cherished figure to all who knew him.

Ricky was born to George and Marga Bunch and spent all his years in Wichita Falls. He graduated from Wichita Falls High School and pursued higher education at Midwestern State University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. His career was marked by dedication and service at North Texas State Hospital, where he worked until his retirement, after which he continued his vocation at United Regional.

Ricky had a profound love for music and cooking, often hanging out with his friends, fondly referred to as "The Gang." His personal interests brought joy and connection to those around him, creating lasting memories and friendships.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Mike Bunch, his sister Patricia Bunch, and his partner Tommy Windsor, Ricky's legacy continues through the lives he touched. He is survived by his three nieces, Michelle Bunch, Tracy Dooley, and Stacy Cody, as well as numerous great-nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly.
