Born in Cherokee, Oklahoma on February 19, 1947, to O’Dean and Genevieve Forsgren, Ronald attended Old High in Wichita Falls, Texas. Through the years that followed, he became known as a devoted and hard-working man—someone whose steady presence and quiet strength could be counted on by those who knew him best.
In 1966, Ronald met the love of his life, Paula Hamady, and they were married. Together they welcomed two children, Phyllis and Ronald Lee, building a family life rooted in commitment, care, and enduring love.
Ronald found joy in simple, meaningful pleasures—fishing, playing golf, and most of all spending time with his family. In these moments, his deep devotion was most evident, and the affection he gave so freely made him truly beloved.
Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Paula, and his sister, Linda. He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis; his son, Ronald Lee; his grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, Nicholas, Sidney, and Shelby; and five great-grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed.
