Ronald Wayne Mendenhall, 72, of Wichita Falls joined his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. (Toby) Mendenhall, after a long battle with cancer on Monday, April 4, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Deluca, Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Ron was born in Odessa, TX. November 14, 1939 to W. H. (Toby) and Mildred (Hawley) Mendenhall, and they preceded him in death. He graduated from Wichita Falls High School and attended the University of North Texas. He owned and operated Arctic Ice and Arctic Equipment of Dallas. He was an active member of NRA.
Survivors include wife, Phyllis Alexander Mendenhall; children and their spouses; Wynne Richardson of Wichita Falls, Gerri and Greg Rankin of Dallas, Gay Dawn and Earl Gouker of Aledo and Kevin Key of Dallas; ten grandchildren and one great grandaughter.
Ron Ron’s grandsons will proudly serve as pallbearers.
