Scott developed his love of cars and trucks in high school and was into Diesel Mechanics. This started Scott’s life long career in auto mechanics and heavy machinery operation and repair. Scott worked at Sprague Electric, Palco Plumbing, Texas Motor Toys and Gibson Associates.
Everything goes by so fast that if you want to be a part of it you need to go that fast.
Scott loved going fast and was always updating his vehicles to make them go faster and keeping them looking great. His greatest love was his Red Ram Viper truck and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was off almost every weekend in heat and cold on his Harley. He loved motorcycles so much he named is dog Harley.
He also loved being with friends and family on the lake. Mostly he loved flying across the lake on jet skis. Flying over waves and seeing who he could get wet.
You don't burn out from going too fast. You burn out from going too slow and getting bored. Scott was always on the move and working on something. He could not sit still.
He was always ready to help his friends with anything they needed. He was “like a brother” to so many people.
Scott passed to be with our Lord on September 24, 2022 at the age of 55.
Scott is survived by his sister Phyllis Massey of Mansfield, TX, his aunt Jan Massey of Prosper, TX and aunt Nancy Struck of Odessa, TX. He is also survived by numerous cousins and their children.
He is preceded by his mother and father, Jimmy and Jerry Massey of Houston, TX and brother and sister, Lisa Lou and Jimmy Roy Jr.
Scott is survived by his birth mother Brenda Lynd of Randolph, TX and sisters Diona Aaron and husband Lester Weddle of McKinney, TX and Sherri White and husband John Nichols of Randolph, TX. He is survived by his nieces and nephew Seth Aaron, Miriah Aaron, Alexa Weddle, and Keagan Cooksey of McKinney, TX.
Move fast and break things. Unless you are breaking stuff, you are not moving fast enough. This was Scott.
We loved him so much and will miss him every day.
