

Sharon Elaine Vaughan Hill, 64, of Holliday passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 3, 2011. Services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Cross Country Church in Holliday officiated by Pastor Clint Sissom. Interment will follow in Holliday Cemetery directed by Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
Sharon was born December 6, 1946, in Hopkinsville, Ky., to James Edward and Madeline Roberts Vaughan. She married Howard Hill November 1, 1963, in Archer City and together they raised five children. She worked as a waitress for the Pioneer Restaurants for many years. Her life was centered around her children and grandchildren, and she was a proud Maw Maw. She adored her precious dog, Leila.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jim Vaughan; and grandson, Ryan Hill.
Survivors include her loving husband, Howard Hill; devoted children and their spouses, Steve and Karen Hill of Wichita Falls, Missy and Wade Sadberry, John and Kim Hill, all of Holliday, Darren and Kim Hill of Denton, Russell and Katie Hill of Wichita Falls; brother, Sam and his wife, Suzanne Vaughan of Dickinson, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, Justin and his wife Liz, Rebekah, Hannah, Emily, Chris, Taylor, Andrew, Connor, Jacob, A.J., Savanna, Blake, Ben; great-granddaughter, Braylee; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alvin and Billie Burge; brother-in-law, Jeff and his wife Debra Burge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
