Sherlyn Martin

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny Taylor of Grace Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.

Sherlyn was born November 28, 1944 in Ryan, Oklahoma to Alvin and Evelyn Wagner. She married her high school sweetheart Nelson Bobby Martin on August 7, 1964 and they moved to Wichita Falls in 1969. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, here Sherlyn was an amazing christian woman who walked with Jesus always. She was active in church and her church family was dear to her. She was loved and loved unconditionally.

Sherlyn loved garage sales and resale shopping. She worked in her yard for relaxation and it was one of her favorite things to do. She loved her family more than anything and always enjoyed spending time with them. She worked at Michael's because she loved crafts so much. She made all her granddaughters and great granddaughters hair bows to match every outfit. She had always cut and styled her own hair. She had so much love to give, there wasn't anything she couldn't handle. She will be missed by many.

Sherlyn was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Evelyn Wagner; her husband Bobby Martin; her daughter Kimberly Martin and great grandson Brayden Perry.

Survivors include her son Damon Martin of Wichita Falls, granddaughter KaLeigh Kerr and husband Michael; two grandsons Channing and Josh Martin, three great granddaughters; Audrey and Abigail Perry and Autumn Martin, brother Terry Wagner and wife Laurie of Edmond, Oklahoma and two nieces.
