Ted Hall, 72, of Breckenridge, Texas, passed away on June 10, 2026. Born October 20, 1953, in Breckenridge, Ted was the son of Chilton and Mary Hall. From the very beginning, Ted carried himself with a steady strength—someone others could count on, someone who met life with clear-eyed honesty, loyal devotion, and a quiet courage that did not seek attention.
Ted graduated high school in Breckenridge and, right out of school, began a long career with R E Dye Manufacturing. Through decades of work and responsibility, he built a reputation for being hard-working and dependable, approaching each day with the kind of integrity that speaks for itself. Ted remained with R E Dye Manufacturing until his retirement in 2020, a milestone that reflected a lifetime of perseverance and pride in doing things the right way.
On March 3, 1973, Ted married the love of his life, Debbie Doyle. Their marriage was a lasting partnership marked by devotion, kindness, and the selfless care that turns ordinary days into a home. Together they raised two children, April and Jeremy, and shared the simple joys of family life—going to the river, camping, and fishing—moments shaped by Ted’s steady presence and the warmth he brought to those around him.
Ted found happiness in the open road and the outdoors. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, and fishing—interests that reflected his adventurous spirit and brave, independent heart. He was also a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, and he treasured time spent with friends and family. Alongside his wisdom and compassion, Ted’s humor had a way of easing the day and drawing people close, reminding others not to take life too seriously even while meeting it with responsibility and resolve.
Ted was preceded in death by grandson Stone Lester and nephew Kerry Sanders.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; son Jeremy and wife Patricia; daughter April; grandson Landon; granddaughter Jaci; and two sisters, Pat and Pam.
Ted was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
