Born on February 13, 1975, Tony lived a life full of love, laughter, and generosity. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back without a second thought. With a heart as big as his smile, Tony brought light and warmth to every room he entered. His laugh—loud, joyful, and contagious—will echo in the hearts of all who knew him.
Tony had a deep love for cooking and Barbequing for his friends and family. He found joy in bringing people together in that way. Tony’s love was genuine and unconditional and if you knew him you felt it. He was the life of the party, known for his humor, his loyalty, and his unforgettable presence. A proud and passionate Dallas Cowboys fan, Tony never missed a chance to show his team spirit—and everyone around him knew exactly where his football loyalties stood.
He is survived by his loving brothers, Fred Rivas and John Rivas; his longtime partner, Chrissinda Castro, grandchildren Payzlee, Jr., Aubrey and Jozie; and his cherished nieces and nephews—Sean Rivas, Christopher Rivas, Angelina Rivas, Selena Rivas and Katrina Cooper—who adored their Uncle Tony. His bond with his closest cousins and friends, who were like brothers to him, was unbreakable, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of calling him a friend.
Tony Rivas was truly one of a kind. His love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.
