Vernadeane “Robbie” Goble, 88, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 in Wichita Falls, Texas. A visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Monday, December 7, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1pm Tuesday, December 8, at Hampton Vaughan.
Robbie was born April 17, 1927 in Fort Riley, Kansas. She married Charles Goble in the 1950s. Robbie was a kind, loving, nurturing woman who was always taking care of others. She worked as a nurse in the baby delivery room for many years. She also was a major advocate for the humane society, spending many years working for them as well. Robbie would help anyone with anything, it’s just who she was.
Robbie is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Goble; and son, Tommy Goble.
Survivors include; Sister-in law, Norma Schroeder; nephews, Ben Walker and Robert Walker; niece, Kathy Rice; great nephews and nieces, Shelby Rice, Walker Rice and wife Kaitlyn, Kari Hill, Kyle Hill, Cassandra Johnson, and Kaci Hill; great-great nieces and nephews, Kilar Hill, Lane Hill, Sydni Hill, and “Bean” Hill.
