Virginia Lucille Condren Clement, 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. She was born November 30, 1931 to Willis Byrd Condren and Lucy Lewallen. The fifth of nine children, Jenny learned early the value of family, a value she held as her guide throughout her life.
She wed Lynn David Clement on December 16, 1950. During their 28 year marriage, David and Jenny lived at Air Force bases including: Guam, Montana, Florida, and Texas, before settling in Wichita Falls where they raised their four sons: Karl Geoffery, Joel Stephen, Gregory Scott, and Vernon Lynn. Jenny later became grandmother (Nina) to six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She provided holidays filled with family, laughter, and everyone’s favorite dish. Her true magic lay in the individual relationships she treasured with her family during the other days of the year. Through her quiet reserve, she taught her family that quality time with her was something to be treasured due to her ability to make them feel like the most important person in the world.
Aside from being an exemplary mother and Nina, Jenny was involved in her community through membership and serving as an officer in the Benevolent Patriotic Order of Does, and was also a member of the Benevolent, Protective Order of Elk’s. She received awards and notoriety for her efforts at Wichita General Hospital, Shepherd Family Services, and home health care. Jenny was also a member of First United Methodist Church. After retirement, Jenny devoted many volunteer hours to the gift shop at United Regional.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, four sisters, and two brothers. She is survived by son, Stephen, and his wife, Vickie, of Wichita Falls, Texas; son, Gregory, and his wife, Cindy, of Rhome, Texas; as well as grandchildren: Emily, Chad, Missy, Carrie, Tyler, and Katie; nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by brother Harry Condren, and his wife, Pegge, of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma; brother Howard Condren, and his wife, Kay, of Miami, Oklahoma; and many loving nieces and nephews from across the country.
