

Virginia Williams, 94, of Wichita Falls passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with The Reverend John Swistovich, celebrant. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 Tuesday evening with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM, all at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Garden Mausoleum at Crestview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Williams was born January 14, 1917 in Coffeyville, Kansas to the late Owen McCabe and Nellie (Reynolds) McCabe. She married Robert Dale Williams in Kansas City in February, 1945. Robert was career U. S. Navy, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer. He preceded Virginia in death in 1992. Mrs. Williams was a resident of the area for 50 years and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. After her husband’s death, she became involved in a local grief support group and enjoyed traveling as well as volunteering with ‘Meals on Wheels’.
Survivors include daughter, Shirley D. Litteken and husband, Arthur of Windthorst, Tx.; son, Robert Dale Williams, Jr. and wife, Patricia of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Art Litteken, Jr. and wife, Lauri, Wichita Falls, David R. Litteken and wife, Cyndi, Vernon, Tx., Deborah M. Williams and husband, John, Windthorst, Sis Green and husband, David, Windthorst, Sarah Smiley and husband, Chris, Tulsa, Ok. and Ann Witten and husband, Joe, Blanchard, Ok.; twelve great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Don Williams, Wichita, Ks.
Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the U.S.O. at Terminal B-14, UL Entry, 2141 International Pkwy., DFW Airport, Texas, 75261.
