Wanda was born October, 10, 1945 in Wichita Falls, Texas to John Brown and Mazelle (Knight) Ewing. What does it mean to live like Christ? The answer is Wanda Carol Scott.
We love you mommy. We stand amazed at your endless care of PaPa, MeMe, and Daddy in their late years. Nana, you served the children, grandchildren and a multitude of others that counted on your sage wisdom anytime day or night. Momma, you did this all with the love of Christ. Daughter of Christ, you achieved this while carrying major illnesses without complaint and with the sweetest smile. You masterfully wove Jesus into our souls. You were our best friend.
Mom we watched you drive into the 1979 tornado to rescue your family. You served the Lord with gladness working at Central Baptist for 2 decades. Mom, you blessed countless others at The Wichita Theatre. You poured your time, treasure and energy into us. A better example of Christ’s love, there is none. You loved us unconditionally and taught us to do the same. We will honor your example with our lives. We cherish your memory and we will see you soon.
