Wes J. Hasty, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 50. He was born in Van Wert, Ohio, on September 4, 1976, to Calvin C. Hasty and Barbara J. Arnold.
Wes was a loving husband, an amazing father, and a proud G’pa. His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and loved ones. He had an amazing sense of humor, a kind heart, and a way of making people laugh wherever he went. He was hardworking, incredibly loving, and would do anything for the people he cared about.
Wes loved music and spent many years as a DJ, including his time at Graham Central Station. He also loved working at Promiseland Bar, fishing, playing in pool and dart leagues with his wife and friends, and spending time with his two dogs, Dappy and Gunner. And if Wes was around a grill, everyone knew they were in for something good—he loved to grill and was VERY good at it. Some of the best memories were simply being together, enjoying good food, good company, and plenty of laughter.
Wes is survived by his beloved wife, Tanna Hasty; his children, Jered (Alex Rodriguez) Hasty, Justin (Jacey Hamilton) Hasty, Kayla (Logan) Curts, and his stepson, Collin Johnson; and his grandchildren, Jered Hasty II, Jayden Hasty, Rainey Hamilton, Malani Campbell, and Christie Hasty. He is also survived by his father, Calvin C. Hasty; his brothers, Calvin (Sheila) Hasty and Randy (Tabitha) Grimm; and his sisters, Jeannette (Neil) Felver and Tyla (Tony) Mason, along with many family members and friends who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara J. Arnold, and his brother, Robbie Arnold.
