William Norris Farrell

Services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, 2, 2012 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Alice Hupp. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in the Garden of Inspiration.

Visitation will be held 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Bill was born March 8, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA to William T and Mary Grace Norris Farrell. He served our country in the Army Air Corp during WWII which led him to Wichita Falls. May 6, 1942 he married Thelma R. Williams in Waurika, OK and together they raised one daughter. He was a welder and retired as a welding inspector. Bill was a member of Parkplace Christian Church and Masonic Lodge #635 as well as the 50+ Zone and 55 Advantage. Upon retirement he and Thelma moved to Possum Kingdom Lake. He loved fishing and woodworking, especially making birdhouses and wind chimes.

Mr. Farrell is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Grace Bugsch in 2012.

Survivors include his loving wife of 70 years, Thelma Farrell; devoted daughter, Deborah Underwood; granddaughter, Michelle Warren; two great-grandchildren, Corbin Warren, Marissa Warren, and one great-great-grandson, Slade Warren.

If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
