William was born on January 23, 1926, in Petrolia, Texas to William Frank and Agnes Lee Pepper Fiederlein. He married Betty Woodward on February 14, 2001. He was a neon sign designer. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War 2 and was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church of Tyler. He was a member of the American Legion Pierce Green Post and loved motorcycles and especially his Indian motorcycle. He also loved Nascar racing. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister: Mildred Mathis, and 2 grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife: Betty Fiederlein of Flint; 3 step-children: Sheryl Shaffer of Bullard, Texas, Cynthia Hatfield of Tyler, and Arthur Martine of Kilgore, Texas; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
