William Roger Smith, 67, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on July 10, 2026. Born on November 5, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Sidney and Ruth Smith, he carried forward a life marked by steady work, plainspoken honesty, and a resilient spirit that met each season as it came.
Roger graduated from Iowa Park High School in 1978. He built his working life through years of dedication—spending 14 years with Coca-Cola, continuing in dental equipment sales for several years, and later joining with his father to start S&S Trailer Sales, where his hard work and dependable character remained constant until retirement.
On November 23, 2016, Roger married Judy Davis. Together they enjoyed Lake Kemp, where they have a home, and they treasured time spent with many, many friends. They also loved going to the mountains and riding trails in their side by side—pursuits that reflected Roger’s adventurous nature and the good humor he so often brought to the people around him.
Roger enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, hunting, building street rods, and being with his friends. In these simple, well-loved interests, those closest to him recognized a man who valued loyalty, straightforward living, and the kind of laughter that makes ordinary days easier to carry.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Ruth Smith.
Roger leaves behind his wife Judy; son, Chris; brother, Kenny; sister, Cindy Lamb and husband Larry; granddaughter, Tagen; nephew, Justin Lamb; and niece, Sarah Denham.
