Agnes E. Manion, 97, died at home Monday, September 23, 2013. Born in Andale, KS June 25, 1916, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Agnes Pargett Klein. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W. Manion (1975), by brothers John, Bernard, and Nicholas, Jr., and sisters, Margaret Tenbarge, Rose Todd, Marie McClure and Rita Klein.
She is survived by son, James C. Manion and his wife, Jan, a daughter, Mary Beth Manion, and one brother, James A. Klein, all of Wichita.
Agnes was likely the last survivor of the 1917 Andale, KS tornado.
Visitation with family from 5:30-7pm, Wednesday, September 25, with Rosary following at 7pm, at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Chapel. Funeral Mass 11am, Thursday, September 26, at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
