

Alexander "Alex" Storrie II, was born on September 7, 1937, in Clayton, New Mexico, the son of Alexander Storrie and Barbara (Pendergast) Storrie. Alex passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, at the age of 88.
Growing up, Alex, attended schools in Clayton, where he graduated from Clayton High School. Alex worked at a candy factory in Davenport, Iowa. While in Davenport, he met Joanne Naomi Wagner. They started dating and in 1960, they married. After graduation, Alex attended Palmer Chiropractic School. They got pregnant and moved to Boulder, Colorado, where they raised their family.
Alex enjoyed watching golf tournaments, including The Masters, football, especially the KC Chiefs, Family Feud, and Jeopardy.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a great grandson, Gabriel Richard Storrie.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne Naomi Storrie, sons, Brian, Butch, and Jonny Storrie; sister, Judith Storrie Wilson; grandchildren, Brooke Storrie, Lindsey and husband, Wyatt McFarland, Ariel, Ethan, Hayden, and Melia Storrie; great grandchildren, Rylan Reiss, Mae McFarland, Osman Storrie, Hendrix Storrie, Atlas Storrie, Wylie Hurst and Moses Hurst. ; 4 nieces; 2 nephew, cousins, Alex and Canny Cox.
A funeral service will be held on February 27th at 3 pm, at Resthaven Mortuary, located at 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas.
A memorial was established with Shriner Children's Hospital.
