

Ali Mohammad Ghoddoussi, age 87, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Mashhad, Iran, on March 21, 1938, Ali lived a life full of passion, laughter, and dedication to education and family.
Masoud was the beloved husband of Akhtar Gharagozloo, with whom he shared a loving marriage since 1972. He was a devoted father to Armin Ghoddoussi and Alsid Ghoddoussi, and a cherished sibling to Fereshich Ghoddoussi (Abdi Nikonpour), Farideh Ghoddoussi (Mohammad Tajalli), Ahmad Ghoddoussi (Ziba Khansari), Fraidoon Ghoddoussi (Neshat Mehdizadeh), Farhad Ghoddoussi (Farahnaz Mahabadi), and Ghodsi Ghoddoussi (Mohamad Heravi).
Masoud was preceded in death by his parents, Mohammad Hossein Ghoddoussi and Aghdas Harimi Ghoddoussi, and siblings Masih Ghoddoussi and Firoozeh Fatemi.
A lifelong educator, Masoud taught middle and high school students in subjects including geography, history, music, and English. He was known for his great sense of humor, his love of storytelling, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Masoud had a deep love for music, sports, and food—especially meat. He enjoyed playing soccer, biking, and watching games with enthusiasm. His vibrant personality made him a social and engaging presence in any room.
He will be remembered for his laughter, his kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him.
