Breit, Alice Evelyn, 90, died June 29, 2013. She was a retired librarian in Ashland, KS and was a US Navy Wave Veteran. There will be a Mass Wednesday July 3, 2013, 2 P.M at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ashland, KS. A rosary will be held Tuesday 7:30 P.M. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Haysville, KS. Alice was preceded by her husband; Alex Breit, parents; Arthur and Marguerite Blakeley, sister; Grace Norton, and brother; Richard Blakeley. She is survived by her daughter; Jane (Ron) Betzen of Wichita, KS, her sons; Don Breit of Wichita, KS, and Joe (Virginia) Breit of Houston, TX, her sister; Ella Blakeley of Protection, KS, her grandchildren; Amanda, Joshua, Jessica and Matthew Betzen, Nina (Morgan) Barraza and Michael Breit, and great grandchild Annabelle Barraza. Memorials may be sent to St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Haysville, KS or St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ashland, KS.
