Andrew “Andy” Ray Linn
May 18, 1980 – Aug. 4, 2025
We are saddened to share the passing of Andrew “Andy” Ray Linn, who died on Aug. 04th, 2025, at the age of 45. Born in Wichita, Andy was known for his quiet kindness, gentle humor, and deep love of anime and comics. He was working at Popeye’s, where he was a steady presence and a friendly face to many.
Andy was quiet, silly, smart, and always ready with a subtle joke or random fact. Though our paths tooks us in different directions, he has always been, and will always remain a part of the lives of those who remember him, and we will be forever grateful for the time shared.
He is survived by Jessica (Jared) Coplin, Amanda (David) Bounsana, Sean McCrory, Cheryl Linn, Tami (Mike) Wiley & Tim (Stephanie) Linn; his aunt(s) Ramona (Jeffrey) McCrory, Barb (Larry) Creamer, Betty (Tom) Loney, and his nieces, nephews and cousins and more. He was preceded in death by Lonny & Matthew Linn, Karen Harding, his grandparents and other extended family. His presence will be missed, and his spirit will live on in the stories we tell and the laughter he inspired.
A graveside service will be held on Wed, Aug. 13th, at 2PM CST at Greenwood Cemetery. Reception will follow at the Popeyes on 13th & Hillside. All who knew Andy are welcome to attend and honor his life and legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to assist with expenses. CashApp ($jessicop), Venmo (@Jessica-Coplin) or Facebook Pay.
We are grateful to those who join us in remembering Andy and celebrating the life he lived!
