Angela H. Scantlin

97, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Angela was born the daughter of Edward and Mary Hauser on August 6, 1923 in Nashville, Kansas. Angela and George Scantlin were united in marriage on April 6, 1945 in Wichita. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; Bill Scantlin, son-in-law; Henry Sutton, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include her loving children; George R. (Susan) Scantlin, Barbara Scantlin, Bob (Sharon) Scantlin, Angela Sutton, Janet (Blake) Little, Dan (Amy) Scantlin, Paul Scantlin, 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren and extended family.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 7pm on Thursday August 5, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am on Friday August 6, 2021 both at Church of the Magdalen, 12626 E. 21st St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery, 7200 E. 45th St. N., Bel Aire, KS. Memorials can be made to Church of the Magdalen, 12626 E. 21st St. N., Wichita 67206.
