Bird, Annette M., 93, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019. She was the daughter of Lee Dade and Nettie (Dewing) Sutton, born in Wichita on March 25, 1925 at the home her father built. She was a life member of Haysville VFW Aux. Post 6957, a devoted mom and grandma, and enjoyed the outdoors, horseback riding and photography. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bird; son and daughter-in-law, Billy Ray (Mary Jane) Bird; grandson, Jeffrey Bird; great-granddaughter, Alycia Dye; brother, Clifford Sutton; sisters, Cleola Sutton Wenke, and Reba Sutton. Annette is survived by sons, Gary L. (Dorendia) Bird, and Mike (Anna) Bird of Wichita; grandchildren, William R. (Beth Dee) Bird, Beth Anne Harrell, Tricia L. (Michael) Dye, Annette L. (Jeromie) Allan, Lee T. (Tera) Bird, Michael A. (Denise) Bird, David G. (Alisha) Bird, and Angelina (James) Rogers; granddaughter-in-law, Kristy Bird; great-granddaughters, Whitney (Brandon) Storey, Mercedes (Michael) Brown, Rebecca Harrell, Renee (Tanner) Conley, Kayla Dye, Brayle Dye, Talure Bird, Marisol Bird, Kiona Iorio, Mylissa Dye, and Jessa Rogers; great grandsons, William A. (Jordan) Bird, Jordan (Mary Christine) Bird, Jaydan Bird, Luke Harrell, Matthew (Destiny) Harrell, Michael Eugene Dye, Brett Dye, Blake Allan, Brady Allan, Nash Bird, James E. Rogers, Angel Bird, Jarrett Bird and Michael E. (Kalee) Bird; great-great granddaughters, Korie Ann Bird, Charlie Grace Bird, Sammie Jo Bird, Haydyn Bird, Emalyn Brown and Presley Dye; great-great grandsons, Billy Brown, Carter Harrell, Dexter Harrell and Christopher Conley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Monday, March 18, 2019. Funeral service is 10:00 am Tuesday, March 19, 2019, both at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials may be given to Home Health of Kansas, 7607 E Harry St, Wichita, KS 67207.
