Arlene Faye Taylor

Arlene Faye Taylor 85, born in South Haven, KS to Harry and Bessie Richardson, passed away July 18, 2016. Arlene loved geneology and drives in country. She also liked traveling to Branson, going to Creed family reunions, and telephone visits and remembering the past. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed playful teasing with family and friends. Arlene married Dale Taylor, husband of 57 years on June 20, 1948 in Howard, KS., after his passing on July 2, 2004, Arlene lived in Derby and Scott City. She was preceded by her husband, Dale Taylor; parents; brother, Clyde Richardson. She is survived by sons, Lawrence "Larry" (Marcia) Taylor, Scott City, KS and Terry (Pearl) Taylor, Haysville, KS; grandchildren, Patty and Anthony Woolery of Hutchinson, Heather and Adam Carver of Burlington, Ben and Megan Taylor of Scott City, and Robin and Ed Gaskill of Wichita; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016 and Funeral Service 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 both at Resthaven Mortuary. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
