Fr. Busch was our Pastor at St. Peters in Schulte, back when all our children were still at home. He often stopped by our home and visited and never refused an invitation to stay for supper.  He was a kind, compassionate, loving and caring person who carried all those virtues into his Priesthood. I had just made a note that his birthday would be here soon, when I read of his passing. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be missed.
Rest well, Fr. Art.  Job well done!

Father Busch will be geatly missed! He was the head of All Saints Catholic church when my brother, sister and I went there...he was always quiet and kind to everyone. He is an angel now.

My heart and prayers go out to the family of Father Busch. I was going through a difficult time personally as I went through RCIA process at All Saints. Father Busch was so kind and supportive. RIP dear Father you have served your Lord well.

There was something about the way Fr. Busch said this in a sermon that really stuck with me: "The most important thing we can do in life is to get to heaven." God bless you Fr. Busch and RIP.

I was saddened to hear the news about Fr. Busch.  He was a great pastor at All Saints and he officiated both funerals for my Mom and Dad.  Even when my Mom passed away, he was already retired and he co-celebrated the mass with Fr. Birket and Fr. Malone.  It was a great tribute to my Mother.  May he rest in peace.

My first memory of Father Busch was 1st grade at Sacred Heart Colwich.  The new grade school had just opened in 1960 and he had been assigned assistant pastor of the parish.  He would visit our classroom quite often and would play a little baseball with us at recess.  He took on teaching us as alter boys our Latin responses for Mass and somehow that is one of the few things I retained from my education.  I know he was a great inspiration to all and only wished I could have kept up an ongoing relationship with him into my adult years.  May God keep him in the palm of his hand as an example to all a Holy Catholic Priest who led by example and compassion.

Father Busch was a great friend to our family.  He showed me and my siblings that priests were "regular guys" with a holy calling.  I'll never forget he and Fr. Philip Allen clowning around with us.  God rest his gentle soul.

Fr. Busch was the first Priest I remember having growing up. He was a good man and very kind. When I met my husband, I was excited to have married into his family. I heard amazing stories of when he would "bless their fishing poles". We will miss him, but his kindness will live on forever! :)

Fr. Busch was a great singing Pastor and got our Parish of St. Mary Derby going.  He was very loving and a great Priest and Pastor.  He will be missed.

When Fr. Busch, just ordained came to St.Annes, I decided to receive instructions to the Catholic faith. We got along real well.After my conversion, He remarried us, Baptized our children. We loved Fr. Very much. I was his first convert and he always called us his first family. He will surly be missed.

We first met Fr Busch in El Dorado at a Marriage Encounter weekend in the 1980's. We cherish what he taught us then, as well as, when he was our Pastor at All Saints. We miss you Father - peace be with you.

Having been a convert, I was very fortunate to have been able to take my instructions from Fr. Busch as well as being baptized by him. He also baptized both of my daughters.  Being a member of the St. Mary Parish I felt very Blessed having a priest like Fr. Busch who was easy to talk to and always made you feel comfortable. I know my life has been blessed by him. I have a special memory of Fr. Busch that I will never forget.  I was working at the Rose Hill Nursing home in the early 80's and there was a lady who was very ill, she asked me if I could call a priest for her.  I called Fr. Busch, it was late on a weekend night and we were having one of the coldest nights of the winter. There were snow drifts up against the building. When he arrived, he went to the wrong door and no one heard him, then he went to the other door and started knocking. By this time his hands were frozen, he didn't have any gloves on.  I went and opened the door, he came in explained how he had gone to the wrong door.....  I took him in so he could warm his hands and prepare to go visit the lady.  As he went about his preparation he went to get his holy water and it wasn't to be found.  He went on and administered the sacraments of the sick and visited with lady. Then before leaving he and I talked also and after having been there for close to and hour he was making his way to the door to leave. I walked with him and as he opened the door to walk out into the freezing conditions, there was lying in a snow drift beside the door, his container of HOLY WATER, still warm like it had just fallen from his pocket. I will just never forget that, that small amount of water on a night like that should have been frozen in that amount of time, but this was still warm.............. We looked at each other and smiled....... God Bless you Fr. Busch

It was with sincere sorrow I found this in my e-mail copy of the paper.  Fr. Busch was such a prominent part of my entire family.  When he was at St. Annes my dad, who was at the time, an Evangelical, (my mom Catholic) went to Fr. quite often to have him answer any and all questions about Catholicism.  Not once in all that time, (and it was quite often, even by dads own admission) did he ever not have time for him.  My 82 yr old father and myself and four other siblings were all baptized on the same day by him in the early 60's.  What a wonderful, faith-filled and lovable priest he was and will always be remembered as an intregal part of my faith.  May he rest in the peace of God as he has worked hard for him here on earth. Father Busch married my husband and I in 1988 at All Saints and we spent time getting acquainted with him during our pre-marriage counseling meetings.  We both really enjoyed the time we spent with him and appreciated and respected his advice.  In addition we had a lot of fun visiting with Father Busch and shared many laughs with him.  As a non-Catholic I wasn't sure what to expect but he was so nice to me and made me feel so comfortable and I will always love and remember him for that.

Condolences of the traditional Anglican parish of St Thomas Becket Church are extended to the family and associates of our friend Fr Art Busch. In 1985 the bricks and mortar of then Our Lady of Lourdes Rehabilitation Center were not yet dry  on the former polo grounds of North Rock Rd. when Bishop Gerber graciously welcomed us to the use of its chapel through the intercession of Fr Busch.  Our  mission to the patients, family and staff has continued to provide non Roman Catholic worship every Sunday continuously since January 1986.
We and doubtless  many hundreds have  been blessed  beyond measure because of this act of Christian charity.  May light perpetual shine upon him as we join in the celebration of his life.

I knew Fr. Busch when he was in Derby. May he rest in eternal peace and his family will be comforted by the Holy Spirit.

My condolences to the family and friends of Fr. Busch.  I had the privilege of working with him when I was a teacher at All Saints Catholic School from 1990-1997.  I remember he was never on time for mass.  I also remember that he had high expectations of his parishioners, and the teachers at the school.  He was a man I looked up to and admired.  I hope he is resting with the angels.

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Fr. Busch. I am a parishioner at All Saints parish. Although I was a young kid, Fr. Busch was still an inspiration to me and people of all ages. He baptized me, prepared our class for our first reconciliation, and was there when our class received our First Holy Communion. He was present during the most important events in our journey of Faith. Fr. Busch definitely was a blessing to those he met throughout his life. I will be forever loved and missed. Although he entered into Paradise and is no longer here with us in bodily form, he is with us in spirit and the memory of him and the impact he had on others will live on within our hearts forever.
