Oberlechner, Arthur Thomas, Jr., 84, passed away Oct. 16, 2014. Arthur was retired from the US Army and City of Wichita. He was an avid golfer and Past Master of Sunflower Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen and daughter, Shirley Solis. He is survived by his sons, Arthur Oberlechner III of El Dorado, Fred (Patty) Oberlechner, John (Ellen) Oberlechner, Rickey (Annette) Oberlechner all of Wichita; daughters, Diana (Brian) Ferris of Wichita, Cheryl (Mitch) Dunbar of Wichita, Karen (Michael Johnson) Oberlechner of Madison, NC, Gina (Tim) Hill-Eldredge of Whitewater, KS; 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Viewing is 3 to 8 pm Sunday with family receiving friends 5 to 6 pm at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service is 10:00 Monday, Oct. 20 at Furley United Methodist Church, 11400 E. 101 St. N., Valley Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Furley United Methodist Church, Wichita Jr. Golf or Kansas Masonic Foundation.
