Audrey Hope (Dixon) Lauer

Audrey Hope (Dixon) Lauer, age 89, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. Audrey was born in Almena, Kansas to Millie and Will Dixon on May 28th 1933. She was followed by brother Ron, sister Peggy, sister Viola and brother Bobby, along with numerous half brothers. At Cozad High School she met her Lifelong love Willard "Bill" Alvin Lauer. They were married in Alexandria Louisiana on September 9, 1953. While there they were blessed by Michael William, and shortly after Marcia Lynn. Willard was transferred to Denver Colorado where they had Mark Douglas and William Alan.

Survived by her loving husband, Bill Lauer; son Mike Lauer (Diana), daughter Marcia Harford (John), Mark Lauer, son Bill Lauer (Pam); grandchildren William Lauer II (Lisa), Cathrine Leis (Lance), Robert Harford, Joe Lauer, Jessica Murphy (Cameron), Jim Lauer (Karly), Megan Knutzen (Justin); numerous great and great great grandchildren.

A Service of Remembrance for Audrey will be held Monday, February 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM with a visitation to start at 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 600 N Greenwich Rd, Wichita, KS 67206.
