She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Iva Smith; her brother, Norman Smith; her husband, Curtis Auten; her son Richard Auten and her great-granddaughters, Megan and Amelia.
Audrie is survived by her children: Dwight (Pat) Auten, Gene (Grace) Auten and Kelly Ward; her grandchildren: Christine Garton, Karen Maynor, Bryan Auten, Becky Auten, Robert Auten, Michael Ward, Daniel Ward and Jessica Auten; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Resthaven Mortuary, located at 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, on January 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with the committal service immediately to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in the Garden of Freedom.
