

Navarro, Auggie, 83, retired golf professional passed away peacefully surrounded by his family June 2, 2012. Auggie was one of ten siblings born in Wichita, KS. He served 31 years as head golf pro at Sim Park Golf Course, achieved a lifetime PGA membership, and set a U.S. record low golf score of 14 under par 57 in 1982. Auggie was preceded in death by his wife Donna Navarro, parents Antonio and Angela Navarro, brothers Felix, Frank and Ray Navarro, mother-in-law Irene McKnight, father-in-law Mac McKnight, son-in-law Mike Wright. His survivors are children, Gary (Debra) Navarro, Rick (Cheryl) Navarro, Debbie Wright; brothers, Bob (Adeline), Knox (Carmen) all of Wichita; sisters, Helen Chavez of CA, Anita Graham, Frances Palacio, Jeanie (Julian) Figueroa of Wichita; grandchildren, Kyle Wright, Scott Navarro, D.D. Saville, Matt Navarro, Elea Navarro, Chase Navarro, Kaydance Navarro, Megan Roper, Taran Roper and 7 great grandchildren. Rosary is 7:00 pm Thursday and Mass of Christian Burial is 9:30 Friday, June 8 at St. Thomas of Aquinas Catholic Church.
