Barbara "Barb" Elaine Buist

Barb’s incredible legacy will carry on with her family. Little mama was the life of any party, showing up with a fun-loving nature ready to dance and have a good time. She loved being the center of attention and would carry on varying antics that included dressing up or getting half naked… just to shock us.

Barb was educated and practiced as a cosmetologist most of her life, winning a number of style

awards early in her career. After retiring from Boeing Computer Services as the training center manager, Barb worked as a paraeducator locally.

Barb is survived by her siblings, Ronnie Smith and Drada Tressler (Jim); daughters: Denise Wharry, Denita Urban, and Kelli Reid (Stefanie); grandchildren: Tisha Keller, Jennifer Slivocka (Rich), Jasmin Williams and Joshua Urban; great-grandchildren: Kirstin Adams (Collin), Trenton Keller, Kinzie Urban, Lucy Slivocka; great-great-granddaughter, Bellemy Adams, and her dog, Gucci Man.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Norma Sterner, and dog, Oliver.
