She was born in Green Bay, WI to Phillip W. and Clara (Schmitt) Leonhardt. On June 6, 1955, she entered the U.S. Army and worked as a Teletype Operator in the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. She met Abraham “Al” Weiner and the couple married on September 8, 1956, at Fort Myer, VA.
She is survived by her husband, Abraham “Al” Weiner; son, Barry (Mary) Weiner; daughter, Catherine (Steven) Klinkhammer; sisters, Charlotte Hipp and Phyllis Kulick; grandchildren, Jennifer Steeves, Jaimie DeLeon, and Thomas Weiner; 6 great grandchildren.
