Brown-Purdy, Bettie Louise, 84, retired owner/manager Brown’s Tire Shop and associate at David’s Tire Shop passed away April 17, 2012. Bettie was preceded in death by her husband Ralph L. Brown, son Warren Brown, brother Orville Larson and grandchild Tony Lough. Her survivors are husband Lester E. Purdy; son David (Karen) Brown of Wichita; daughters Joan Lough, Crystal (Marshall) Cox all of Wichita, Shelly Brown of Haysville; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Viewing is Thursday 12 to 8 pm with family receiving friends 7 to 8 pm at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service is 10:00 am Friday, April 20 at Westside Freewill Baptist Church.
