What a wonderful, kind and loving English teacher. I have so many fun memories of being in her creative writing class. She never gave up on me when I couldn’t come up with the title for the story, Ms. Colburn always encouraged me and said the final product would be amazing! She saw things in me that I couldn’t see!
I am so sorry for your loss! Heaven gained a beautiful angel.

I have many fond memories of Bea. She was not just my teacher but also a friend. I learned a lot from her Creative Writing class at DHS and a few life lessons too. She made my 18th birthday very special and will never forget her kindness. Her laugh was contagious! She once told me to live my life without regrets. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends!
