Cummings, Betty Ruth, 91, of Wichita went to her eternal home to be with Jesus February 4, 2016. She was a generous loving mother and friend who gave herself to others. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother to many. Due to long illness, she is preceded in death by husband, Daniel (Don) Cummings; son, Charles (Chuck); parents, Opal and Bowman Byers; granddaughter, Anisha Cummings; sisters, Bernice Alter and Virginia Wolfe; brother, Billy Byers. She is survived by sons, Don (Brenda), Jim, and Robert Cummings; daughters, Sondra and Sheryl Cummings; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2016 with visitation 1 hour prior at Resthaven Mortuary.
