Betty graduated from Larned High School in 1956 and married Wallace Dotson on June 16, 1957. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she also was an avid reader, enjoyed watching the Game Show Channel, Hallmark Movie Channel and Elvis Presley Movies. At night, Betty would also have her two cups of coffee so she could stay up to watch Perry Mason.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Wallace "Wally" Dotson; brothers, Elroy Robinson, Ervin Robinson, Jim Robinson and Robert Robinson; sisters, Bessie Mantz, Dorothy Boltman, Ruby Stevens, Donna Burns & Peggy Martin; and her son-in-law, Gene Slinkard.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Cindy Slinkard of Rose Hill, KS, Tammy (Paul) Mynatt of Rose Hill, KS, and Georgia (Kevin) Biggs of Rose Hill, KS; son, Billy Dotson of Larned, KS; grandchildren, Justin, Shaunda, Kristi, Jeremy, Joshua, Stefanie, Jason, Lyle, Danielle, & Jennifer; 26 great-grandchildren with another great-grandchild and a great-great-grandchild on the way; also survived by her two brothers, Elvin Robinson and Keith Robinson.
Funeral service for Betty will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2025, with visitation one hour prior, at Lakeview Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Lakeview Cemetery in the Garden of the Cross, 12100 East 13th Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
