Betty L. Louis

Louis, Betty L., 91, Homemaker, passed away May 5, 2015. She was born in Hamilton, Kansas to Douglas and Mary (Stewart) Ratcliff on August 1, 1923. Betty was raised on a Kansas farm and loved gardening. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Claude, a grandson, Kevin and her brothers, Morris and Wayne. Survived by her daughter, Mary Diane Hall (Keith) of Wichita; sons, Ed (Terry) Louis of Lenexa, Doug (Michelle) Louis of Wichita; brothers, Jack Ratcliff of Hamilton, Gary Ratcliff of Lebo, Wes Ratcliff of Sioux City, IA; sister, Donna Sue of Delaware; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Rosary: 7 p.m. Sunday; Mass: 10 a.m. Monday, both at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3030 N Amidon, Wichita, KS 67204. Burial to follow at 2 p.m. Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Catholic Church.
