Betty Jean Mattingly

Betty J. Mattingly, age 86, of Wichita, KS, passed away October 16, 2018. She was born the daughter of Ernest and Ida Wade on September 3, 1932 in Wichita, KS. Betty was very strongly family oriented. She was a member of a sorority for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert Donell; sister, Marjorie and her husband Roy Allen. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Mattingly; daughter, Pamela Sue Burke; grandson, Robert A. Burke Jr.; brother, Ernest Wade Jr; nieces and nephews including, R.W. Allen of LA, CA, Dr. Barbara Allen-Hill of Pennsylvania, and Richard Pennycuff of Wichita, KS; Chocolate Lab, Misty Lynn. Services will be held Monday, October 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the ASPCA of Kansas.
