Beverly Sholtess

Beverly Sholtess, age 67, homemaker, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Beverly was born May 16, 1948 in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Wendell and Wilma (Wichert) Ratzlaff. She was a 1966 graduate of Derby High School. On April 12, 1969, she married Eldon D. Sholtess in Wichita, Kansas and to this union were born two children. Survivors include: husband of 46 years, Eldon, of the home; children, Kendall (Lillian) Sholtess, Beijing, China, Indy (Jefferson) Fairbanks, Belle Plaine, Kansas; grandchildren, Sabryna Jones, Wichita, Kansas, Katriel Sholtess, Beijing, China; step grandsons, Matthew Fairbanks, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Ethan Fairbanks, Fredonia, Kansas; sisters, Juana Markhart, Wichita, Kansas, Tammy (Dale) Diller, Pocatello, Idaho; aunts, cousins, and extended family. Visitation 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday with family present 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Home, 935 North Hillside, Wichita, Kansas. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Summit Church, Wichita, Kansas. Graveside service will follow at El Paso Cemetery, Derby, Kansas.
