

Beverly Marlene Titus, 81, of Wichita, KS, passed away at her home on December 19, 2016 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born January 24, 1935 in Pratt, KS, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Redfern) and Ralph Charles Dikeman. She was a homemaker, and previously worked at Excel Manufacturing in Wichita, KS, as a bookkeeper. On September 2, 1955 she married Beuford Titus of Stafford, KS, whom she met while dragging Main Street in Pratt. After attending Kansas State University and a brief stint living in Kansas City, they settled in Wichita, KS. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Beuford Alton Titus; one daughter, Sharon Barlow of Wichita, KS, two sons, Gary Titus and wife, Alana of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Greg Titus and his wife, Katie of Leawood, KS; a sister, Judy Pinkerton of Goddard, KS and a brother, Jim Dikeman of San Diego, CA; five grandchildren, Andrea, Carmen, Megan, Mitchell and Erin. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Nancy Jo Nicholas. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 7th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary 11800 W. Highway 54 in Wichita where her ashes will be interred.
