My condolences to Coach Puetz family and prayers for you all in losing her smile and laugh here on earth but her spirit is singing with the Lord. I have many memories of classes with Mz Puetz from gym, to learing to 'dance' and was in her class when Challanger tragedy occured. I remember her fondly. May she rest in peace. (class of '86)

I am so sad about the passing of our cousin, Sharon Puetz.  Removed by miles, but so close in family.  Very hard to lose so many of our family including my only sibling, Doris Jean Shelton Eddleman (Jan 17, 2011).  Sharon and Doris had so much in common including being PE teachers and such a wonderful role model and friend to students.  Wonderful memories of long ago times when Sharon and Sy would visit Texas and the Shelton family.  Prayers and condolances to the family.

Cy, Gary & Cheryl:  Cliff & I were so sorry to hear about Sharon.  I remember spending many evenings with Sharon in the stands at the Westside Athletic Fields cheering on the Vulcan softball team.  Fun times & great memories.

Mrs.Puetz was on of my favorite teachers at Bishop Carroll!  I loved individual sports where we went golfing, bowling, badminton, etc.  She drove the bus and was ALWAYS laughing and having fun.  Maybe I was just a big brown-noser but I was always on her good side!  Prayers out to her family and friends during this tough time...

I am sorry to read about the loss of your Mother.

Sharon was a great lady and will truly be missed. At Carroll my senior year we had Advanced PE and went bowling everyday. I spent alot of years with the Puetz family and Sharon was always nice to me. Damon & Shelby had a one-of-a-kind Grandma. My deepest sympathy to Sy & Cheryl & especially Gary. God Bless the whole Puetz family.

Cy, Gary & Cheryl and family - so very sorry to hear about Sharon.  I remember way back in the day, Christ the King, and off to WSU to be a PE Teacher. Then to teach at CKS and then off to BC.  Many special times and friends made there.  Know many are thinking of you all.

Sorry to hear about Sharon.  She was one of many of us at Wichita State University who was always in the "doghouse" with our teachers.(Bair, Fife & Slingerland) but we had lots of fun!!!! times as Physical Education Majors.  She was a special person and I'm sorry I didn't see her the last few years!!!  Your family will be in my prayers.

My prayers are with your families at this time.  Mrs. Puetz was my P.E. teacher at Bishop Carroll 87-90.  I remember her smiling face and her 70's dance moves!  She had a genuine interest in her students and was a true friend for some of us teenagers. :) I enjoyed seeing her a few times over the past years and every time I was greeted with a hug and her wonderful smile.  Great memories of a sweet lady!

I was also a BCCHS student of hers. She showed me great compassion when my Mom passed away during the time I was in PE and I'll never forget that! Know that you are all in my prayers.

I was fortunate to have known "Mrs. Puetz" while I was a student at Bishop Carroll and had bumped into her many times over the years since.  I will never hear "The Hustle" or any Bee-Gee's song the same way.  She will be greatly missed.
