OBITUARY

Bonnie Jean Stillings

September 29, 1949September 29, 2017

Bonnie Jean Stillings, 68, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, was called home by our Heavenly Father on September 29, 2017. Bonnie and her twin sister, Connie, were born to Dorothy and Howard Kellum on September 29, 1949 in Macomb, IL. Bonnie loved her 12 brothers and sisters unconditionally and was proud to call herself a Kellum.

In 1971, Bonnie met her husband, Kelly Stillings on a blind date. That blind date turned into a 44 year marriage. Their marriage and love is what most aspire to have. Bonnie and Kelly moved around the United States following work, where they made countless friends. Bonnie didn’t know a stranger and she had a knack for making everyone feel like family. Even though they moved around, Bonnie kept in touch with her friends.

Bonnie had many jobs throughout her life, but the ones she took the most pride in was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her children, Brian and Brandie inherited her wicked sense of humor and love for family. Her grandchildren, Kellen, Ella, Emma, Ethan, Justin, and Shelbie will always remember how much she spoiled them without any hesitation.

Although Bonnie is no longer here on earth she has left a legacy of tolerance, kindness, love and giving to others. We take great comfort in knowledge that she is watching us and protecting us from up above.

I'm just one of the many Midwest Drywall family that had the privilege of working with Bonnie. Although it was usually on the phone everyday, but we were always laughing about something. Thoughts and prayers for the family! I will miss her sweet voice on the other end of the telephone. No more pain my friend.

I have so many fond memories of Bonnie. We were classmates from grade school through high school. So many fun times, laughs shared, and memories made together. These are precious memories that will never be forgotten. My sympathy for all her family.
