Brad’s life was marked by his love of family, his faith, music, and sports. A graduate of Marshalltown High School in Iowa, he also attended Bethel College in North Newton, KS, before transferring to the University of Northern Iowa.
Brad grew up in a home filled with music. That love of music stayed with him throughout his life. Brad worked in many retail positions, including store manager of several Walmart stores over the years. He was also incredibly proud of owning his own business that he created in property management and his rentals that he named AIP—Alternative Investment Properties. Together, Brad and Debbie continued in real estate by purchasing and renovating 15 homes. During this time, Brad became a real estate broker. Today, they own several rental properties in Wichita.
Brad was a lifelong believer whose faith was incredibly important to him. Attending church his entire life, he has attended Riverlawn Christian Church for the past 11 years with his family. Brad began each morning with daily devotions and prayer before heading to work, and he enjoyed spending time in the evenings reading and studying his Bible. His faith remained a steady and meaningful part of who he was throughout his life.
Brad’s love of animals was no secret to anyone. Throughout his entire life he was surrounded by his furry companions. After losing their sweet golden retriever, Callie, on June 1st of this year, two weeks ago they welcomed Baylee, their baby Goldendoodle Cavapoo. Brad delighted in Baylee and even chose her name, Baylee Brianne in honor of their daughter, Erica, whose middle name is Brianne.
