Brennan C. Peshek

August 12, 2002March 20, 2021

Brennan Carson Peshek was born on August 12, 2002 in Wichita KS to parents Everett and Michelle Peshek and big sister Savannah. He went to be with Jesus on March 20, 2021, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident, also in Wichita, KS.

He attended Buckner Performing Arts Elementary School, where he discovered his love of music and drumming. Brennan was able to participate in a “bucket drum line” that helped create a strong foundation for his future percussion endeavors. He attended Stucky Middle School where he was able to participate in band and grow his drumming skills even further. Brennan then attended Wichita Heights High School, where he was a senior, set to graduate in May of this year. While attending Heights, Brennan participated in marching band, pep band, and concert band. He was also on the varsity golf team where he lettered his Freshman and Sophomore years. He was not able to participate his Junior and Senior years due to the pandemic. Through Heights High School, Brennan was able to attend WSU Tech, where he studied Alternative Fuel Maintenance and Advanced Electronics. Brennan was a “hands on” learner and would have rather been in the shop working on cars than in a classroom.

Brennan was a Child of God, baptized and confirmed at Risen Savior Lutheran Church. He really enjoyed drumming in the praise band and participating in the youth activities. His confirmation verse was Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Brennan loved spending time with his family and friends, playing Xbox, drumming, golfing, and boating. His most recent adventure began in August of 2020 when he became a father to Greyson. Brennan loved to be silly with Greyson and make him smile and laugh.

He had been working part-time at Academy Sports + Outdoors for four months and was really enjoying his time there. Brennan also really enjoyed chasing the family dogs, Theo and Sadie, around the house. He was energetic and full of life and was always trying to make people laugh. His bright smile and goofy personality will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by great-grandparents Rev. Arnold and Florine Aschbrenner and uncle Howard Peshek.

Brennan is survived by parents Everett & Michelle Peshek, sister Savannah Peshek, 7-month-old son Greyson Carson Mastrobuono, and girlfriend Hannah Menadue, who he was recently promised to. He is also survived by grandparents Ken & Sylvia Carson of Wichita, KS and Orvis & Norma Peshek of Hastings, NE; uncle Mike Carson of Springdale, AR; aunts Ramona Peshek of Wichita, KS and Beverly Puckett (Don) of Lincoln, NE; cousin Amy Madvig (Tim) of Omaha, NE; and many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 25th at Lakeview Funeral Home: 12100 E. 13th St. N., from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

The funeral will be held at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 6770 E. 34th St. N., on Friday, March 26th at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.

Brennan’s favorite color was red, the family invites you to wear red to the service.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to the friends and family of Brennan. Him and I had been good friends from freshman year of high school, until junior year and just recently had begun to rekindle our friendship that fell off. Brennan was a very good friend who had a big heart. He always knew how to cheer someone up, or simply put a smile on your face with his goofy personality. I will never forget the positive impact he made on my life, he will be dearly missed by so many.

To Brennan's Family,
This is a beautiful tribute! I never had the privilege of meeting Brennan in person; however, my heart has been broken for all of you. My daughter, Tia, is in the WSUTech class and became fast, close friends with Brennan last Fall. From her talking about him for months, I learned that Brennan was extremely generous & kind, helping her work on her car often in class; he was a talented mechanic; was a funny, ornery goofball who brought a unique, fun energy to that class. I do hope it warms your heart to know that he positively impacted the lives of those around him & will hold a special place in their hearts. My thoughts are - and will continue to be - with you.

Family of Brennan,
I'm extremely sorry for your loss. Brennan was my first friend when I transferred to Heights High School. He was funny and caring and made sure I felt welcomed.
I will miss Brennan so much and so sad I cannot make it to his funeral.

I have no words. I simply want to wrap each of you in a forever hug and never let go. His sweet smile, his sweet ornery smile. His soft, curly brown hair. His small stature but huge confidence. A giant piece of my heart - as are each of you. I will stop by on Thursday and hope I will be able to hold you, if even briefly. I have had both of my vaccines, if that helps. I love you and it is my prayer that you feel the arms of Jesus wrapped tightly around you. Understanding may not ever come, but rest fully in the knowledge that Jesus loves you more than you could ever imagine.
