Burl Thomas Johnson

Burl was a very outgoing man who never met a stranger. He was a loyal and kind man who easily became a father figure to the people around him. He was a very wonderful husband, devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather who was very loved and will be deeply missed. He enjoyed golfing, drinking Friday coffee with his Army buddies, telling stories, OU football, and family get-togethers.

Burl is preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace Johnson, siblings, Margaret Bassett, John "Bubbo" Johnson, and Jay Don Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Donna Johnson; daughter, LaDonna (Grant) Endicott; grandchildren, Bryan (Mandi) Endicott, Dustin (Amber) Endicott, Kiley (Aaron) Groom; great grandchildren, Alexis, Katelyn, Cooper Endicott, Hannah Groom; brother, Pat (Janet) Johnson; as well as many family members and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday, September 20, 2019, from 5-7 p.m. and his Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019, both at Resthaven Mortuary.
