Cal proudly served in the United States Army for three years, worked 15 years at Beech Aircraft, then worked at Boeing where he finally retired there after 20 years.
He loved anything outdoors. Fishing and hunting though were Cal’s favorite hobbies, but fishing with his grandchildren was his pride and joy. Cal loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Caleb and Maude Harper; brother, Curtis Harper; sisters, Cleo Lippincott, Carmen Albright and Carneese Rogers; and grandsons, Clinton Flock and Brent Waters.
Cal is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy Harper; children, Roy (Dean) Flock Jr, Kayleen Spurgeon and Darrin Flock; grandchildren, Shannon Carro, Renae Wood, Sheena Reynolds and Kevin Waters; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Funeral Service with Military Funeral Honors for Cal will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, November 27, 2023, with visitation one hour prior, at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206. Burial will follow the service at Lakeview Cemetery in the Garden of Apostles Extension.
