HINSON, CALLIDORA ELIZABETH "CALLIE", passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was born on March 27, 2002 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Dan and Sarah Anne "Lawrence" Hinson. Callie attended Wichita Montessori School and continued on to The Independent School and was currently a student at Andover Central High School. As an avid reader, brilliant writer, wonderful student and beautiful artist Callie was very much a free-spirited young woman; a "force of nature". She carried the belief that "I am who I am" and had many different interests. She was a longtime band member, playing the flute; and enjoyed Anime and Manga, computer gaming and programming, and traveling -- especially enjoying visiting the UK and Paris. She loved when her mother and sister would bake and was a connoisseur of their baked goods. She enjoyed spending time with her family and flying with her dad; they even dabbled in archery as a family. She was a Wichita Swim Club Member and had attended their White Team training. Callie ran an instagram account where she shared her paintings, drawings and other art forms with her followers who will remember her as a gentle spirit. Callie is survived by her parents Dan and Sarah; sister Arianna Esther Hinson; grandparents Kenneth Earl and Laverne L. Hinson; aunts and uncles Kenneth Earl Hinson, Jr. (Kay), Christopher James Hinson (Kim), John Barton Hubbard (Cheryl); dachshund Pickle and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents Cecil Barton and Margaret Elizabeth Hubbard.
