Carol, known for her intelligence despite having only completed the 4th grade. She was the biggest tomboy. She had a passion for cooking, baking, sewing, and arts and crafts.
Carol was predeceased by her parents, Johnny Edward and Lillian Carter, her husband Larry Huffstetler, her siblings, Geneva Childers, Lorraine, Marie Fuller, Johnny (JR) Edwards Jr., and Dwaine Edwards, her grandson, Shaun Rayl, and her stepsons, Mike Deavours and Jerry Deavours.
She is survived by her daughter, Keena Rayl (Terry Rayl), her sister, Fran Carter, and her great-grandchildren, Baylie Rayl, Brittany Rayl, Levi Rayl, Grace Lynn Senecal and bonus grandchildren Brandon and Samantha Whetstine.
A visitation will be held on December 1, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary, located at 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm, with a committal service immediately after.
Carol will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
